Roles and Responsibilities of the President of HUMBUG
As President of HUMBUG you are to ensure the smooth running of the Club. So as President your roles and responsibilities are to:
- This including making sure that the room booking have been done.
- Deal with any problems with regards to ITS.
- Make sure that other members keep the rooms nice and tidy upon exit.
- Make sure that members in charge of packing and setting up duties follow them.
- Send out any announce emails that fall within Exec business or to make sure that those that have been given the task do so.
Help Exec members and people in Non-Exec Roles perform their roles and given tasks. These include for Exec members those tasks in the http://www.humbug.org.au/Exec/All .
Be diplomatic. You will find that most issues can be resolved if you use diplomacy. As stated in Wikipedia states that "In an informal or social sense, diplomacy is the employment of tact to gain strategic advantage or to find mutually acceptable solutions to a common challenge, one set of tools being the phrasing of statements in a non-confrontational, or polite manner."
