- [rs 2007-12-07] Turns out that LCA traditionally pays for speaker accommodation. This wasn't reflected in the submitted budget. The details are still very much up in the air at the moment, so I have no made any adjustments as yet. We have to find out if this practise will continue, what duration is paid for, and what style of accommodation is provided.

Your task is to ensure the conference makes money. To that end two things have to happen:
- Drawing up a budget document. Eg a spreadsheet that has squares for all likely sources of income and expenses. LA figures for previous LCA's would be a good place to start.
- Harassing people to give you figures to put in above spreadsheet. This is probably the harder of the two jobs.
