Brisbane 2010 Proposal

QUT is our venue again this year. They are enthusastic to do it again. We are hoping to get Saturday as well this time.

Mark's plan is to book all rooms on level 3 and 4 of Z block at Gardens Point. This would provide us with the following rooms for 6 days:

• Z411 (530, Theatre, Proposed Keynote venue)
• Z401 (300, Theatre, Overflow for Keynote)
• Z406 (300, Theatre)
• Z303 (170, Theatre)
• Z304 (170, Theatre)
• Z309 (90, Classroom, extra room for miniconf)
• Z302 (60, Classroom, extra room for miniconf)
• Z305 (60, Classroom, extra room for miniconf)
• Z306 (50, Classroom)
• Z308 (44, Classroom)
• Z301 (40, Classroom)
• Z413 (20, Classroom)
• Z407 (Possible Registration Desk, need to negotiate with TALSS who don't normally use the space outside of semesters)
• Z412 (Computer Room, we may be able to get access to this, not sure about use of computers. If we could use computers, would be an ideal terminal room)

Mark also indicated that he will cover the costs of telephone for the organisers, and any network reconfiguration by ITS needed for the conference.
