Membership
Membership of HUMBUG is only $20.00 for one year or part thereof until the fall of the next AGM (See the Constitution for further information). Membership at HUMBUG allows you to use the internet services provided at meetings. It also gives you voting rights. Also you can join up on the wiki and gain editing access on our website.
Humbug's Email Lists
To join our email list just click on Mailing List then chose the mailing list you want to join and fill out the form.
So what lists should you join? Well that depends on what you want to do. Below is a breakdown of the lists.
General The most important email list to join is the General list. This is for general discussion and any announcements are posted here also.
Admin If you interest in the administration of HUMBUG please feel free to join the admin list which is where the exec discuss anything related to executive business.
Sasig This is where the System Admins communicate. Please feel free to join but appreciate that this list is for our System Administration so take care about posting comments.
Dsig Is the developers lists. Where the software developers of our club can talk and share ideas.
Member's Area
These links below are setup for members to post information about themselves.
Members This is where you can post information about yourself.
The Car Pool simply type your where you live and whether you need or have transport.
The Jobs area allows you to post what jobs you have to offer and if you need a job.
Membership Forms
The new membership form is out. You may download and fill out these forms and then send them if you can not make it to a HUMBUG meeting. I would like to say thanks to LiveCat for her work on the membership form. When you do fill out the form please include as much detail as you can. The witness signature on the back please leave blank.

humbug_form_2009.pdf This is a straight pdf version of the membership form. Best used if you only intend to print and fill out by hand.
If you need to submit membership forms or require your issue to be dealt with privately email please the club secretary, <secretary AT humbug DOT org DOT au>, or our private Exec lists using <exec AT humbug DOT org DOT au>.
